Passord Protecting a 1040 .pdf

Does anyone know how to password protect the .pdf that ATX will create? I want to email a .pdf to a client, but I can't figure out how to password protect it. There is an option to password protect the return, but I assume that is within ATX. I am a single-preparer office, and I would rather not password protect the return within ATX. I'm not sure whether that would take care of the .pdf anyway.

Thanks so much.
