BulldogTom Posted January 27, 2016 Report Share Posted January 27, 2016 I am getting a reject error for the dependent on line 6 c2. There is no 2nd dependent and there is no second line????? Anyone having an issue like this. The client is a repeat, so the return is rolled over. Accepted last year and no issues with the dependent. The dependent is on record 1 on the dependent tab and there is not a second dependent or line. Weird....I hope this does not require a call to support. Jack from Ohio Posted January 27, 2016 Report Share Posted January 27, 2016 This error does NOT indicate which child is being rejected. If you only have one child on the return, it is the child the reject code is referring to. When there are multiple children, ATX will usually highlight the SS# of the child involved when you first view the reject code. I take a screen shot with the error at the bottom and the highlight circle around the indicated SS# and print it. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
