Roberts
I received a stack of them on Monday morning from a different firm. Turned out every one of them was "corrected" but it didn't change a single one of my entries. Most either changed info about a separate K-1 or they re categorized a qualified dividend to a (wait for it) qualified dividend. 2

Abby Normal
We usually hold broker statement clients to about now, but this guy was in FL and just got back to a stack of mail. But he's one of my longest, best clients and he absolutely loves me... and his wife just died.... so I didn't bill him for a redo.

Catherine
I have one elderly couple who get a corrected 1099 form (broker name escapes me) EVERY May. So we put them on extension every year, and file the original after we get the corrections. /sarc on It's nice when they (brokerages) as SO reliable. /sarc off
