  1. Tired and shot like everyone else. At this stage of the game, we're just tools for people to use. They have no regard to how hard we work to make sure they get the best results on their returns.
  2. My usual Saturday night posting. Just wondering how many of us are ready to surrender. Like maybe finding a new line of work, Or say to your clients, "business mileage 120,000, charitable contributions, cash 50, non cash 8,000, fine".. Just venting again. Guessing most of us are tired, can't see much any more and wonder how we're going to get it all done.
  3. Just wondering how many slugs like me are still pumping away at 10:30 plus on Saturday night as it gets harder to see forms because of the pressure we feel not wanting to disappoint anyone by failing to produce a return in a timely manner. For you english majors, I know puncuation was poor. Probably even spelled the puncuation word wrong. Just venting.
  4. Still working on Saturday night and just wondering if the rest of us peons are tired of digging necessary forms from envelopes, struggling with excessive paper clips and forms stapled together. Also, trying to find the forms in folders, or some sort of plastic or some unmentionable smelly pouch that hits you if face when you open it.
  5. Must admit I'm tired and lazy. Two women live together. Present home in name of one person. They are buying a new home. Both will be on deed. The one who owns present home can qualify as a buyer for long time resident credit. The other could qualify as a first time home buyer. They file separate returns. Is there any rule that says they each can't take the credit that they qualify for?
