  1. New client.. Came from another accounting service. 1st year she is an S Corp. but didn't have wages taken .... I also understand that she doesn't necessary HAVE to get wages taken off of her 1st 1120s.. I don't find that any where in irs.gov.. I don't believe 8919 is appropriate.. Or should she not have Any wage for tax purposes? ALL just dividend? What other way is there?

  2. Thanks for the idea, I'll ask CCH about this. We currently have ATX (use for 90% of our returns) and GoSystems (only use for the 10% of our business that involves consolidated returns we can't do in ATX). But GoSystems is very cumbersome to use and has a huge learning curve. I really wish there were an ATX-like option where a user can just enter directly onto the forms versus doing all of the questionnaires and sub-forms. Perhaps we'll find that ProSystem fx is more user-friendly.
  3. Has anyone found a work-around that would allow an ATX user to e-file a consolidated Form 1120? Our firm only does a couple of consolidated corporate returns and so I hate to have to buy a different software just to accomodate these returns. Any input would be much appreciated.
