The trust was set up in 1988 by grandfather who owned an elecrical contracting business. All paper work shows purchase from the trust signed by trustees.

It feels great to be appreciated. I have quite a few clients that when it comes time to bill them I just tell them to give me what they want. They've always given me more than I would have charged them. But then we have the other side of the spectrum---The ones who demand a lot of time and bulk at giving you a fair amount.

It was absolutely the best tax year I've ever had. The program worked very well. E-file was great. My clients were very appreciative and generally we enjoyed working with each other. My computer worked well and I made a little more money. So with all that finished--I should be lonely but my Honda Helix greeted me warmly and yesterday I took a nice long ride and enjoyed God's creation. Bigdadder

According to the IRS publication, both are allowed a maximum of $10,000. "When added to all your prior qualified first-time homebuyer distributions, if any, total qualifying distributions cannot be more than $10,000. If both you and your spouse are first-time homebuyers (defined later), each of you can receive distributions up to $10,000 for a first home without having to pay the 10% additional tax. " So it is okay for the couple and they should not be charged the 10% penalty. Bigdadder

I had one where the baby was born on 12/22/08. They received the SS card already and the return went through fine. They filled out the SS papers in the hospital. Checking with the hospital would probably be my first step. Wish you success. Ralph

Just received my PA ACKS a few hours ago.

You must first export (not backup) the 2007 files to your external hard drive and then to put them on the new Vista computer you must import them from that external hard drive. I did the same thing and it worked great. I wish you success.

I use an HP 2420d. Never had any problems. Works great.

I received mine late this afternoon and installed it a few hours ago. It installed fine and I worked on two sample returns without a hitch. As soon as I installed it I did a complete online update and there were quite a few to load. If all goes as well as the installation, this year will be a good year!!

Start eating lots of Blueberries---Just stocked the freezer with 200 lbs for the winter. The whole family is starting to wake up to the wonderful benefit of the "little blue things."
