Hi, ATXers, I wonder which software is good for IL sales tax return as well as payroll which is not expensive. Any recommandation would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder what time is the deadline at Central Time. Anybody knows it?

I am using ATX. The cutomer signs Form 8879 and IL 8453. Yes. I print out these forms before the customer comes.

I wonder how you are doing the income tax return. For me, I finish the return and close it. And I work on other file. The customer comes in to sign it. I don't open the file since it takes too long to open it. Later at night I open the file and input the date signed and create it. This way, it takes too much time. I dislike this program this year. How are you doing?

I did not have this crash a lot before. I was lucky but I wonder why I am getting more crash after updating 12.10 and more slowness. Anyone have same problems?

I tried to update it. But, I couldn't even open the program. It made me almost panic since I didn't back up the data yet. I tried to restore the system file by going back to the previous date. But It failed. I tried to go back to another previous date but failed again. But somehow, when I tried to open the program, it worked with new update 10. All data is there. I was relieved. It is so stressful that I don't have stable software. It almost harms my health in this busy season. I had to pray for this dumb thing. Try best as you can.

It doesn't show up automatically. I didn't have this problem before this year. The client pointed out it is missing on his return which I didn't catch. All assets are gone. Be careful that everything is included on the tax return even it is automatic. This software is like a garbage with all the problems I have.

Yes. He got the degree while he was a foreigner. He tries to get the secod degree here in the United States. I know that the student with F-1 visa who studies here is not elligible for the American Opportunity Tax Credit (ATOC) since she is not a resident for the tax purpose. Likewise, since he was not a resident in the United States, I think that the first four year requirements do not apply to him right now. What is your opinion?

The taxpayer completed 4 yr college in the foreign country when he was a foreigner. After he married a US citizen, he came over to the United States. He began the education at the college in United States from 2012. He received 1098T. He has never applied for any education credit before. Is he elligible for American Opportunity Tax Credit on the tax return? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have a question. After I install atx and setup sharing the folder and security on the server, do I have to install Atx software again on workstation as I usally do? If so, when do I do mapping? Your advice is greatly appreciated.
