I haven't had this happen in many years (2005). Just wasn't aware of what to even look for.....thank you. I'm well aware that the files are automatically backed up. And, yes....I do back up my computers....had a brand new one sitting right next to my operating one in case something like this happened (as I learned in 2005), power surge got them both! Thank you for your help.

Hello, ATXers.... I had a hard drive crash due to a power surge. The hard drive was replaced by a computer technician BUT, of course the ATX files are not found. Is there any way to recover them when they were just 'transferred' to a new hard drive and not 'backed up' with the ATX system of backing up? Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
