  1. I finally found a fix ... Makes me wonder why this incorporates a backup/restore feature at all. I uninstalled everything on the new machine. Ended all years' services in windows, deleted every ATX file, in the programs folder and the hidden "program data" folder. Then, reinstalled each year, and instead of "restore" I just ended every service again, in windows, and replaced each folder with the folders from the old computer, again with each location ... After that, restarted each service and presto. Took some time... But it works, and that's all I needed it to do
  2. I get an error for every single return that was restored. "the return you selected cannot be opened. Please restore a previous version of the return and try again" I've uninstalled, reinstalled. I've restored over and over. I've done everything I can think of and I cannot get it to work. Please help!
  3. I am helping my friends grandma try to transfer all of the records from her old PC to her new one. It has been quite the adventure, and I thought I had it figured out, but now, on her new PC, it says "found 42 records" ... But it only displays 10? I'm sure I didn't click a box somewhere but I can't imagine where / when. Does this problem sound familiar to anyone?
