I called ATX tech support to ask them if the ATX MAX program can assist us in tracking suspended losses from those who do not have basis in an S-Corp or Partnership to claim a loss. Does anyone know if ATX will help us track these suspended losses when we rollover returns? If it does, how is the K-1 entered so that it does not show on the current year Sch E and will rollover the suspended loss on the following year? ATX support was of little help. maxflitom

We have several here in WPB Florida. I looked into the franchise and once I read that this is manditory I told myself you have got to be kidding me. I will save the embarrasment and do it alone.

We have so many of these her in South Florida. I had a recent client who was attempting to get his citizenship. His preparer had filed the last 5 years as HOH for a married couple, claiming 2 of their 4 children on each return to the the EIC. I amended his returns for immigration because he was not filing as married and both wanted to become citizens. Anyway, he owed nearly 8k after all was said and done. maxflitom
