Dang! Wish I had thought of that. I probably wouldn't have gotten that good a deal but wish I had thought to try. I did get double the discount originally offered. And I did get one year through TRX for $728 and the next from ATX for $840 to return. I'm not really unhappy and, for the most part, think what I have paid over the years has been fair. Next year will be telling, though!

I will not be at all surprised if come December ATX offers that 3 year price lock deal again. It would depend on how many people already renewed and how many more they need to keep it financially viable. If you think about it strategically they need more long term users to keep going and pay for the reengineering. What better way to lock in a user??

If they achieve their sales quota, there will be no discounts or price locks.

I was quite surprised last December when CCH started offering that 3 yr price lock on Taxwise.
