MOBEE
Two person tax corporation. One person has the ERO. What if the individual with the ERO designation dies or becomes incapacitated in the middle of tax season. How do you deal with that on the subsequent tax returns. Is the ERO with the business or the individual.
GeneInAlabama
The ERO is with the individual. Both tax preparers need to have ERO designation.

Abby Normal
MDEA is right. The EFIN should be in the firm's name.http://www.irs.gov/Tax-Professionals/e-File-Providers-&-Partners/FAQs-About-Electronic-Filing-ID-Numbers-(EFIN)
