Tracy Lee Posted March 16, 2019 Report Share Posted March 16, 2019 I have a client with 45 pages of investments Statements and I just entered the totals into the return, but would like to upload and send the detailed Oppenheimer Statements with the Tax return. Abby Normal Posted March 16, 2019 Report Share Posted March 16, 2019 Yes, it needs to be a PDF. Use the efile menu to attach PDFs to a return. Or just skip it. Roberts Posted March 19, 2019 Report Share Posted March 19, 2019 I've never attached a 1099. Have a client with 4 trust accounts - the smallest of the tax forms is 180 pages. David W Ristau CPA Posted March 20, 2019 Report Share Posted March 20, 2019 Count my vote as skip the 1099 PDF attachment. I've been filing for at least 10 years using summary totals only, split into A-F category and by issuer. Never challenged, never questioned and save a lot of time on entries...
