Linda Mathey
Hi, I am preparing estimates for a client. I noticed the 1040ES said there was an update. I updated forms and now the first estimate instead of being due 4/15/20 it says 12/16/19. What the heck is going on? Linda

Linda Mathey
I tried to alert ATX but of course with new hours they are closed. Better to not have updated but expected to see July 15, 2020.
Abby Normal
I'm not seeing that. Updated forms and nothing came down. I changed the variable in the letter from estimate due date to return due date, but estimate due date still says 4/15/20. I override the return due date on late filing tab to 7/15/20. Linda Mathey
Just went into the forms and the date on voucher 1 is fixed. I opened a case last night and they took care of it.

TaxCPANY
I've over-ridden the first two due dates in the 1040-ES Record and the resulting PDF looks fine. Also, I don't use instruction "letter" but, rather, the whitespace-rich, larger font "Client Instr" -- and over-ride its "Post return by" date to "quarterly".)
