BulldogTom
My 8 year old Canon Imageclass 1350 is dying and it is discontinued by Canon. I need a new printer/Copier/Scanner. I would like something similar and I came across this Brother while searching online. Anyone using this model? Thoughts? Thanks in advance Tom Modesto, CA
Lion EA
I went through a bunch of Brother all-in-ones a few years back. Never again. Only HP for me. My printers have always been HP, but I succumbed to a Brother on price and actually replaced it with another Brother at least twice. Was optimistic it was a single problem in an old model, but I was wrong. HP is the workhorse of printers. Fujitsu if you want a scanner only.
ILLMAS
Too me, old equipment lasted longer so no matter what brand you use today it will breakdown quicker. I have through three brother printers, why do I continue to buy them? It's $200, OEM toner cost $100 and is a workhorse until it breakdowns. Abby Normal
I won't buy all-in-ones because they are usually poor at scanning and copying, and if one of the functions dies, you can't replace just that function. I buy cheap brother printers (often on clearance), solid Fujitsu ScanSnap scanners, and I have one Brother copier that's 10 years old that doubles as a printer.
