ETax847 Posted December 11, 2024 Report Posted December 11, 2024 This year I was hoping to make my Tax Organizers fillable pdf's. Is anyone familiar with how to do this? I have tried numerous softwares and I cannot figure out how to convert the pdf into a fillable form. Quote
mcb39 Posted December 11, 2024 Report Posted December 11, 2024 Print the Organizer to PDF. Send it to the client. Have the client fill it out and PDF it back to you. I have only about three to five clients anymore that want an Organizer anyway. You might be wasting more time than you have if you plan to send an Organizer to every client. Quote
ETax847 Posted December 11, 2024 Author Report Posted December 11, 2024 That's a fair point. I don't think I'll spend anymore time on trying to convert the pdf into a fillable pdf. Thanks for your reply. 1 Quote
GLGACCT Posted December 11, 2024 Report Posted December 11, 2024 Kofax Power PDF may work for you. They are now Tungstenautomation they still have a free trial. Here is an old post with some details from a prior year. https://www.atxcommunity.com/topic/30243-atx-questionnaire-users/#comment-196790 2 Quote
Max W Posted December 12, 2024 Report Posted December 12, 2024 I've used Foxit Phantom for about 15 years to create pdf's. It can also create new, or existing fillable forms. It's fairly easy if there is an existing form, but if you start from scratch it can take up a lot of time. It has a loto of other features, not quite as much as Adobe, but it has served me well over the years. 3 Quote
