JRS Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 I get the same message about once a week. I blamed it on my browser. Quote
michaelmars Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 I AM GETTING THE SAME MESSAGE TODAY Quote
Eric Posted December 27, 2008 Report Posted December 27, 2008 Are you still getting it? What specifically are you doing when you get the error? Quote
JRS Posted December 27, 2008 Report Posted December 27, 2008 Periodically still getting the problem, maybe once or twice a week. I open Google Chrome, click on the ATX bookmark and the error will come up whether I sign in or not. Not a big deal. I just close the browser and start again and that will usually fix the problem. Eli Posted December 27, 2008 Author Report Posted December 27, 2008 Are you still getting it? What specifically are you doing when you get the error? I guess it's a hit & miss kind of thing. It did it several times on the date of the initial post. Today I was able to log in with no problems, but it has done it several times in the past as well. Thanks! Eli Quote
TAXBILLY Posted December 27, 2008 Report Posted December 27, 2008 I also had the same problem a few days ago but now it's gone. taxbilly Quote
B. Jani Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 I have the same problem and got the following message, Forbidden You don't have permission to access /index.php on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Apache/2.2.10 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.10 OpenSSL/0.9.8i DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at www.atxcommunity.com Port 80 Then I put the whole email address to sign on and and again rejected as wrong user name. Then just put the user name without email addrss and let me in. I hope this helps to find out why this is happening since last week. Quote
Eric Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 I have yet to reproduce this error. Is it still happening? Quote
JRS Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 Still getting the "forbidden" screen after I log in. When I back out of the two screens I am already logged in? Quote
B. Jani Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 The same error happened today. B Jani Quote
Eric Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 I'm going to look through the error logs to see if I can figure out why this might be popping up randomly Quote
Eric Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 It turns out that the forum software was tripping some of the server's security rules. The issue should now be fixed. If any more of these errors come up, please post them here (pasting the whole error message in your post will help me track them down) Quote
mcb39 Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 I was getting an often and erratic error message on MSN money and was told to clean out all of my cookies and history. Lo and Behold, it seems to have worked. Just make sure you have all of your passwords written down before you try this. Quote
