  1. Sorry, FTM, but frankly, no one but you really cares what goes on on the other Board, or what Bobby says. Please give it a rest. I was one of the founders of this board, I've been here since day 1, and never have I seen anyone spend so much time and emotion on ranting about something happening on another board.

KC, no lack of derence here..but you are stating that "...no one but you really cares what goes on on the other Board, or what Bobby says".

That's your opinion not a fact.

I am proof that you assessment is incorrect.

    It irked me to hear Bobby's politcal commentary and I wouldn't be shocked if I was the only one;

Plus, I find FTM gave me a good needed laugh on numerous occassions during this most challenging tax season.

I think there is a broad concensus that FTM is a funny tax man.

  2. Drake's forthrightness is fascinating and to be admired. From a legal standpoint, are they not putting it in writing, hey we messed up, and if you get penalties b/c of our deficiency, contact us; which to me implies that maybe they;'ve put themself on the line for exposure (or their insurance company)

What if someone owed 1 million dollars and the extension didn't go thru on 4/15 b/c of Drake, now someone might have to pay 50k penalty.

Did they not just put in writing that Drake is liable for this.

However, Phil Drake said "We have been communicating with the IRS and have requested"

He didn't say he got word from the IRS that would be granted an extra day.

Maybe he was informed unofficially by the IRS that Drake would be granted an extra day.

Didn't turbotax or Proseries have this situation a few years ago?

    How was that resolved?

I just find Drake a good honest company.

  3. And i reserve my right to voice my displeasure with having inflammtory rederick posted to what is an otherwise very pleasant, informative, community oriented site.

What is the benefit to bringing this info to this site?

What is the benefit of your #9 post.

I could go expand upon the problems with your #9 post except all you ahve to do is look at a certain party's own confessions of the ignoble intent

that brought upon the desire for such legislation.

I think there are much more suitable places for you to post such verbage.

  4. maybe the #'s do not work for atx

what did cch purchase atx for 60 millino or something like that

and it's in Chicago; people get paid more there..or else you get less qualified people to make the rpice come out

in Maine; workers are nto as expensive, and there are prob not as many jobs to choose from ...so people stick around;;which is why

atx cust service used to be so good when it was in maine

do the math...i think...in maine, they didn't spend millions to buy teh company, they built the company

    atx barely raises it's fee

overhead and costs are higher in chicago.

then again it's 4am..maybe i'm totally wrong..isn't cch in chicago?

Drake is in north and south carolina

they didn't pay millinos for their company; they built it

cost of labor alot cheaper therei would believe

    probably little worker turnover

i'm consistenly stunned at the high caliber of their customer service

  5. I think it takes a little, and often alot out of us each time a client we're close to or feel warm torwards is not well or passes on.

You view your clients as more that just a client and i think that's a good thing!
