I apologize for this annoying type of post but I'm pulling my hair out about something.  How do you set default preferences for the Form 1040, such as the Third Party Designee preference box being already marked in the Main Info tab when you open a new return?  I did this last year but can't seem to remember how do it.  Thanks in advance for any help.

The form IL 1040 got released on ATX tonight but the IL 8453 (e-file form) is not yet approved for e-filing so still can't submit the returns 

This is frustrating.  According to the link below, you can access the Form IL 1040 form and start filing:

Why hasn't ATX updated the software with it yet?  Ditto the Form IL 1120-ST....can't we get started on these, already?  Come on, ATX.  What's the hold up?

This may sound super petty and nit-picky, but is there any way to get rid of the blue arrows that link to the CCH ® Intelliconnect Tax Research product ATX offers?  I've been using ATX for awhile and just installed the 2017 product and I don't really want these on the face of the Form 1040, pretty distracting.  Yeah, I know this sounds ridiculous but does anyone know how to get rid of these?

This is happening to me too (both yesterday and today) and I called my dad (who also uses this program for his practice) and he was having the same problem.  They must have done something to the software which is causing these errors and it indeed involves Fixed Assets since that's the commonality between all the different returns that won't open for me (the basic ones will).  I can only hope ATX will create a patch for this ASAP because like you guys, I have some upcoming appointments this week and I'll be EXTREMELY pissed off if I have to reschedule them because of this snafu.
