  1. I just want to say that CCH treats their customers like they treat their employees. They dont care about you or your needs, all they care about is the money they can get out of you. The sales dept has gone through so many employees since CCH aquired ATX. What they are doing now is they are converting ATX and Taxwise sales departments into one. The same for the renewals dept, Customer Service and Tech. Imagine what the hold times will be THIS tax season! And yes the 10% discount will be offerd all year long! If they dont offer you the discount they will offer you free shipping. Management is a joke! If you have left the company and gone elswhere I commend you! If you are thinking of returning or evaluating the program keep on looking. The program is great and is very powerful I agree but as far as the folks behind it.....cant even say it here. I will agree with the other member they are definatley saying to you NIGYSOB.

  2. The problem is when CCH took over ATX and Taxwise they started using the same database Taxwise use for their customers. When the merge happend they were suppose to bring in ALL of ATX customers into Taxwise system. Not all got brought over ( surprise surprise) So if you have been an ATX user for years it is a big chance that you were not entered in the "Taxwise" database correctly, therefore you are on "Taxwise" calling list. <_<

  3. Is this feature gone from 2007 ATX? I cannot find it. How can we do it?

You will need to use the Forms menu from Return Manager and select Customize Master Forms. With the Customize Forms list open you will type in the Find box Client Letter. You will be able to choose from the Federal or State you will have to do them separately however, you can add them together from the Wizard once you have formatted them as you want them.

With the Client letter open you select Edit Document from the upper right hand corner and make your custom changes. You can also run the Wizard from that point and make additional changes.

When you are finished editing you will then save the letter.

You open your returns If you already have a letter in the return you will need to discard it from under the Forms menu. You would then go back to Forms and select Client Letter.
