I renewed last Thursday and had no problem getting through. Maybe you should not wait until the last day to do it.

I called today got the rep and was asked to hold after waiting 15 minutes I hung up. Called back and got voice mail. Left message about renewal. Called back prior to 5 pm and got mail box is full and sent to another mail box could not leave message there either. I just finished e-mailing to their sales dept what happen. Is this a sign of the way tax season will go???

I am not a happy camper with their service.

How do you handle a code T in box 7 of a 1099R? I never saw this before.

Can 1040-X be e-filed now?

Yes, I have had my Master Tax Guide for about a month and 1040 Express Answers came on Wednesday Jan 5.

I have the Max Program.

If you go to the PTIN login website, click on the PTIN that is shown as yours, another box will come up that says the number is provisional and the date of expiration.

How do you find the PTIN login website??

I received mine today. It installed fast and without a hitch. I have Windows 7 64 bit. I am very

pleased to get it this soon. I was a little concerned about the 64 bit operating system, but Support assured me it

would be fine and it is.

My application went through with no problem. My application number is 8230.

I had tried earlier in the day but got booted out, so maybe they were swamped

at that time.

My wife and I are from the old school. We are celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary tomorrow May 21. The years have been blessed.

Same here. My husband and I have been married 58 years. It isn't always easy but it was

worthwhile. We have five sons and only one is divorced, so we are proud of that.

I was also told by Troy that he would investigate and get back to me. Apparently there is quite a to-do going on over there with all of us calling with the same issues.

Have any of you had a reply today? I didn't call in because I didn't want to bother

Troy with the same questions others had.

Diane, I received the 2009 software and a changed ID number too. I wondered about it, but I did not have time to be on hold to question it today. I will try tomorrow, but if others find out anything, please post it here.

I think if you were with RTX last year, you can get a 40% discount from ATX this

year. They are giving that to people who bailed last year. They want them back.

I am getting MAX for $800 and change.

Jeeze, Tom, I am truly feeling left out. I went with TRX last year and ATX has NOT called me yet for this year. What to do?? What to do????

Maribeth, ATX did not contact me either. I called them this morning to see what

they wanted for the MAX program. He called me back in a half hour and gave me the info.

Good morning all. I went with TRX last year and had the Max package. I called ATX

this morning about renewal and the salesman said he would have to call me back. He did so in about a half hour. The Max price is $1154 this year and they are giving me

a discount of 40% which brings it to $692.40 and then the shipping is $69 and another charge of $46.77, so bottom line is $807.77. I am going to do this rather than have

to adjust to a different program. I really thought they would stick it to us this year, but I am very happy with this.

Taxpayer is in the Army Reserve. He received a 1099 Misc with $1000 in box 7. He says it is a bonus for recruiting a friend for the Reserve. Does he have to pay S.E. on this? I don'st know why it wasn't put on his W2 or do they always do this? Thanks

HELP!! i am drawing a blank. Taxpayer had foster child in her home since July of 2008 until November 15, 2009. Can she claim foster child for 2009. Somehow, I have it in my head that a foster child must be in the home all year to qualify, but I am not finding that anywhere.

I have not received any and I have 10 altogether since Jan 15.
