v8414 Posted February 4, 2014 Report Share Posted February 4, 2014 Hello All, I recently made the switch to ATX and I am finding one small problem that is really making me scratch my head... I have been able to to successfully eFile several clients with dependents without any kind of complication. However, now for whatever reason I have this small problem: After entering my client(s) information on the 1040, I move into the dependents sections - > I "JumpTo Linked Field" where I am able to list all of the dependents. I enter First name, Middle, Last (everything is working fine at the moment)... Enter that the dependent has been living for 12 months (still good no problems), now when I enter the dependents DOB, in this case 8/14/2010 (Although I have played around with the number trying to troubleshoot and still get the same problem) my field that HAD a "1" where it says "Enter 1 for children who lived with you" suddenly is BLANK, and my 1 goes to "Other Dependents".... This has me puzzled, as I have entered that the child lived with the filer for 12 months out of the year.... Again, this is something that just started happening, this was not happening before..
