Congress was trying to get people to spend more money last spring. I'll bet people spent that extra money and now because they spent it they'll get to borrow some to pay it back. Maybe the backs can give them a reverse RAL and add some extra dough to their already stuffed pockets.

Did my first return today and signature went to all correct places including the 8879. Best to wait at least a week to start preparing returns. Too many glitches occur right at the start. No RALS FEE COLLECTS or other problems just do the return and collect the fee. Sometimes have to wait til client gets their refund to be paid but usually all of them pay within 2-3 weeks.

I'd have her sign the 8879 for both of them. Send copy of 2848 in with 8453 to texas address. Keep copy of power of attorney form for your records along with all other data as usual.

They do NOT have to itemize. The law changed effective 2008.

The must itemize I assume you know. They must have a substantial loss isn't it > 10% of their income.

One way to look would be like daycare minutes used. But if calls made bus vs calls made total works better, I'd think being consistant is what would be most important
