Has anybody heard how their software is this year? Is it ready to go with the federal and all the states?

I am doing my first return and my client has 5 children and the software is saying the youngest child is not eligible for the CTC. The box for CTC is not checked and it cant be changed. The child is 4 years old and lived in the home 12 months, it should be eligible. Anyone else run into this?

I worked on a practice return and when I go into print preview some of the instructions are going to print along with the forms. I called support and they said to go into print form instead of print return and select the page(s) you want to print. That will work but that will be very time consuming, is there a way around not having the instructions printing? Last year we could check what forms, worksheets we wanted to print without any instructions.

Are we going to have to add the state forms for our returns? I went into my default return and added the forms for NYS that are commonly used and did a practice return.When I clicked on the state forms it says " not implemented yet". If I add them manually I can use them. I have to be honest I am getting very frustrated with this new software. It looked good when I loaded it on my computer, however now I am very upset with it. Hopefully in April I will have a different feeling.
