About 10 days ago I received a call from ATX asking me if I wanted to renew with them this year. I went with TRX in 2008 tax year and struggled with Tax Wise all tax season, and had their 2009 ATX last year, yeah!! I dislike the worksheet input that Tax Wise has, much prefer the form input system. I really do like ATX having been with them since 1997. Anyway they offered me a 30% discount on the 1040 Office and 5 pay-per-returns, as I do a few business returns. TRX was suppose to send me a demo of the new Tax Works program, but haven't heard from them to this date. Oh well!! I for one will stick with ATX until someone comes out with a form input program with a lower price. I also found that I have to amend 6 of my 2008 (Tax Wise) returns for not adding all the figures into the totals. It was so time consuming converting to Tax Wise then back to ATX, I for one don't have the time or the energy to do this, lol!!

Thanks for your advice. As a newbie I tried to log into the TaxWise University to get the feel of things. It said my login failed so I went into the Forgot password page and it said my Client Id (EFIN No.) and the Username (ADMIN) were invalid. Have tried all different names, capitals, lowerecase, dashes and no dashes. I know my EFIN number is correct and a recent message fron TRX said to put in ADMIN in all capitals, so I am at a lost as to what to do.

I have had no luck in getting through to them for the last three days, all I get is a busy signal. Not sure what to do now/\. Just signed up with them in October and have lots of questions. Sure glad my Clients don't start until the first of February.
