In going through all his paperwork, he found more receipts that would help him. Can I amend his return AFTER the examination is done? I haven't encountered this before. bertrans Posted September 17, 2012 Report Share Posted September 17, 2012 If the tax ssessment is paid (the penalties and interest can still be outstanding), your response will be considred a claim; send the case to the Accounts Management Operation of your original Service Centre.
