Chowdahead Posted February 12, 2013 Report Share Posted February 12, 2013 I have been getting several Federal E-File rejections which have garbled text. It seems to me like it's a technical problem with the e-file itself and not with the actual tax return. Usually, a rejection error will be straight forward like dependent name and ssn do not match. But this year I have seen a number of rejects that just come back with a bunch of coding that makes no sense to me. My only choice is to re-create it and re-send because I don't know what's wrong and I don't have 2 hours to spend to get through to ATX to troubleshoot the issue.
