I've amended but don't know if it causes problems to efile it so soon. How long, if any, should I wait to file? After 4/15/15? Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Margaret CPA in OH Posted March 19, 2015 Report Share Posted March 19, 2015 In my opinion because you efiled the original, you could mail file the amended any time. All the data is computerized already because of the efile. If there is now an amount due, you could wait until April 15 but maybe not cut too close. jlewis Posted March 19, 2015 Author Report Share Posted March 19, 2015 Using Drake and efiling amended 2014 1041 is ok, already amended, sitting there ready to send.
