Jack from Ohio Posted June 10, 2020 Report Share Posted June 10, 2020 Married couple for 50 years. He was a pastor, she was a homemaker. He was 80, when he passed, she is 78 for tax year 2019. Husband passed away 12/19/18. They sent his 12-2018 payment. Then with lightning speed, they reversed the payment in Jan, 2019. Here is my dilemma. They sent two SSA-1099 forms. One has her name on it, and it is all correct. The second one is in his name and SS number, but with a negative number in box 6, exactly the amount that was reversed for 2018. How do I report this?
