Posted January 2, 2009 Report Share Posted January 2, 2009 I am preparing our firms 1099-S's and when I try to create an e-file I receive error that says transferor #18 and #19 have duplicate or vague tax id numbers. For multiple errors, enter unique account numbers. Yes, they are the same transferor so yes they DO have the same tax id numbers. How can I create these 1099's to be able to e-file them? Thanks.
