Terry D EA Posted March 2, 2009 Report Share Posted March 2, 2009 Why are you filing separate? Your client can file MFJ and show the spouse as deceased on the tax return. Unless there is a some situation that warrants the MFS status, MFJ is the way to proceed. Yes, the tax return can be e-filed. Terry D.
