Something to watch out for

Client brought over a CP12 today with a change in her refund. She had wages plus SE income, HOH, 2 qualifying children. There was a change in the amount of EIC on the notice, $555 less in refund. This is my fault, I never thought about it, but the software correctly (on the EIC worksheet) calculated the EIC, BUT, the amt brought forward to L64a was the amt from Part 1 Line 2 of worksheet A instead of Part 3 Line 6. Luckily the change by the IRS was made before the direct deposit. If nobody else has had this happen, I'm going to really get paranoid!
