joanmcq
Two states that are either piggybacked or 'state only' are in 'IRS cleared' status, and have been for a while. What does that mean? Most of my experience is with CA, and its a 'direct state' so the file doesn't go through the IRS.
MontanaEA
Two states that are either piggybacked or 'state only' are in 'IRS cleared' status, and have been for a while. What does that mean? Most of my experience is with CA, and its a 'direct state' so the file doesn't go through the IRS. It means the IRS has sent them on to the states for processing. Since they cleared the IRS by 10/15, they are considered timely filed even if the states don't ack them until tomorrow or the next day.
