H.R. 4994 "Taxpayer Assistance Act of 2010."

On April 15th the House passes a bill that will remove cell phones from listed property category by amendiong IRC 280F(d)(4) effective for years beginning after 12/31/09.

This is in H.R. 4994 "Taxpayer Assistance Act of 2010."

Let's hope this bit gets into the final bill. It's way past time.

In my opinion, Congress looking at deductions for the business use of cell phones is not likely to benefit my clients.
