  1. I am using Civista Bank, but when I printed the checks for my clients, the words "Sunrise Bank " on upper left corner of the check.  I am using ATX. Has anyone got this issue ?  

    Don't know what to do. I have more checks to print .  Need help !

  2. Most of my client returns were submited on 1/31/13 stiil waiting for Refund Checks. Some of them is single returns without EIC, 1 W-2. Checked on IRS web site , there were no information. I don't know if ATX submited my clients returns to IRS, all I can see all returns were accepted on Feb 1, 2013. I don't kown if those returns went to the Space.... More than 4 weeks already, still waiting checks.

    THIS IS BAD YEAR I EVER HAVE IN 15 YEARS doing tax business.

    Anyone has same issue ?

    I need help from ATX if ATX can check out every return that I submited on 1/31/13 ( BLACK DAY ). No phone or no email reply. That is why I post here.

  3. I have some clients ( Filed as single, simple return) but they are still waiting for refund ? Has anyone have same issues ? Now their tax returns was not found in IRS web site !

    I mean simple return without EIC or 8867. They are waiting more than 23 days (accepted on 1-30.2013). They don't know where their returns are .

  4. The IRS is saying that that type of return will not be processed in their system, thereby not accomplishing the reason for submitting them. The info said that if we put $1 in interest to make the form e-file, it will not process. So, in that vein of thought, neither would $92 of interest cause it to be processed in the system.

    I suppose we must assume that just because it is acknowledged, does NOT mean it will be processed.

    The sad truth is, there is no one at the IRS that know the true answer to the question.

    I think IRS did not care for people(retarding) who got income from Social Security, Railroad, Vetaran because these people is no longer pay tax for IRS and they are not important to IRS. That is why IRS will not allow for them to Efile their return.

  5. Thanks, this ATX program has been not that great for me, I used Proseries for over 14 years and this year I started using ATX and it's been difficult naviagating through it. It's like a foreign language to me, do you happened to know if there is a tutorial?

    Learning foreign language is not easy as English.

  6. Problem is... you shouldn't HAVE to post it on this board.

    Yes it's great for someone that doesn't want to talk on the phone, but you should have that option.

    You should be able to call the company that built your program and get help.

    They should be knowledgeable of the product they built.

    You should not have to wait 6 hours for help.

    It's great that you can fix most problems by yourself.

    However, what happens when you have a problem that no one on this board can fix?

    And you can't fix it yourself?

    You should always be able to refer to the makers of your product for support.

    With all the time that all of you spend doing tons of returns for your clients, you shouldn't HAVE to waste time fixing technical issues yourself.

    Bottom line is that it's just not your job to do that.

    It's the technical support team's job to fix your program issues and if they can't help you, that's a bit ridiculous.

    The more you complaint, the more problems you will have.

    If it is stinks, Why use it ?. Get another software and get another problems.

    I will never touch some thing which is stinks.

  8. This is my 4th year with ATX. Customer Service has been getting worse each year. I hate having problems...like the folders, the wierd error when sending through RALs and not getting what I ordered back in December. I know not every program is perfect, but sometimes enough is enough. I also update every day. No problem there. I don't like the $10 transmitted fee, plus we were limited this year on what we can charge for our efile fee. I don't agree with that...but what can you do? (switch programs?)

    I'm glad you're not having the problems I'm having...I would probably write what you wrote if I wasn't.

    I ussualy solve the problem by myself and I always post my problem on this post, then there was someone will help me because I don't have time to hold the phone line.

    Here is problem solve for your folder : click on Return Manager > Forms> Customizes Master Forms> then open form Client Letter, then click Tools > Delete , then delete 2 row above the word : Federal Tax returns for .... " I got this problem, then I fix by myself.

    If you have any problem, Post it on this board, someone will help you. I learned this software from everyone on this board.

  9. It does stink! First, I had to order my tax folders from Nelco this year. The price went up a lot! Then when I print the cover sheet for my folders, the "client" name and "business" name don't line up in the windows. After many calls and fixes that didn't work, I was told that I had to manually change the master form. (these folders were supposed to be ATX compatable)

    And, as of Friday, whenever I create a RAL, something pops up asking me if I want to transmit my Instant RAL now. After almost an hour on hold with tech support, they told me to hit cancel, then go ahead and transmit my RAL. There is supposed to be a fix for this. Nothing so far.

    Also, I ordered the Quick Answers Library from CCH. I received last years versions. I called customer service. They said they send whatever they have in stock but that I would receive the new ones this week. (I didn't need another copy of last years!) I called this week when I didn't receive the new ones...they had to put the order in again. Said would be shipped overnight. Two days later I receive two books that I didn't order. I emailed tech support. They now say the orders for the Quick Answers Library are being sent out this next week. Hmmm..when will I receive what I originally ordered in December?!

    I have no problem with software. I have used it for 10 years. I love it. I have to update software everyday. I think the software was good this year for now. RAL and ERC were smooth, better than last year ( That is worth $10 transmitted fee). I will never go to another software company because I don't want to learn their software. ATX is good. ATX is not for everyone. You have to use ATX a few years in order to fall in love their software. Now I am sticking with them.

    Just got my first ACK and mine never went to Transmitted as far as I can tell. The last thing I showed was validated by EFC.

    I read the same alert. I have only transmitted my dummy return and it hasn't been rejected yet. So, I'll look for tomorrow. I hope all is well with you and your family. God Bless

    I sent a dummy return with ssn 111-11-111 and I got an accepted. yesterday, Idid sent 2 live returns, but it shows Validated by EFC today (Sat).

  12. I tried to create Efile but the system tells me that the Efile Info form on ATX is not yet available. Does any else have this problem? I finally got the EIC form that's not draft but I cant create Efile.

    Ii even tried it on a return without EIC and still can't create.

    Download new version of EFile Info Form . You have to update your software everyday.

  13. I have sent 2 live tax returns yesterday 1pm and 4pm. As today (Sat 11am), it is still show that Validated by EFC. Is this mean that my client returns did not send to IRS yet ? Anyone have same issues ? Please let me know. I am very concern !

    I like to know if some of you are able to create an e-file to send it today.

    If you are able to do so, or not, please let me know because now I can't create e-files due Sch EIC needs to be approved for e-file.

    Tried to call customer service (ATX) phone line busy all time. I already sent a fax and an email but they don't answer.

    Do you know what is happening?

    Is a software problem?

    Or the IRS have not approved this form EIC for e-file.

    If you create Efile (simple return) without form Sch EIC, that will work. I just transmited a return (111-11-1111) and I got an an accepted.

    I am having the same problem. I have the version 21 form EIC and it says that it is not approved when I try to create an e-file. It is the same with form 8880.

  16. I tried to do the test efile this am, and the check keeps coming back that the return needs an EIN.

    I do not have an EIN as a sole proprietor/one person show here.

    In the past, my efiles have gone through without needing the EIN - -I have tired putting in the PTIN, but no go.

    Has anyone else had this problem?

    How do you test efile without approval for Form Sch EIC. Right now I can't create Efile .
