I need Federal ID numbers and addresses for the state revenue departments of both Wisconsin and New York state. I can't create a federal efile with taxable refunds from these states without all the payer info filled in on the 1099-G worksheets. Of course, the taxpayer brought me no 1099s for refunds. Does anyone have the info handy?

The "F" is for the Financial Management Service. They collect delinquent debt owed to government, child support, student loans etc. Taxpayer can call for more info about the offset (1-800-304-3107). An "I" indicator is for an IRS debt, "B" is for both agencies.

I don't really want to jinx us by saying that the coast is clear, but I just got an ACK back on a MN efile.

After updating MN E-FILE INFO (version 17) last night, my MN e-files have been rejected because "Transmitter is not authorized to transmit Return Type M!". I was just beginning to get caught up after last week's fight for efile.....

On the brighter side, for once in my life even with windchills of -51 this morning, I am happy I'm NOT living in Hawaii! They are still in PATS testing and "hoping" for a 2/12 release. Of course if I lived in Hawaii, I would find something better to do than taxes during the winter months..... :lol:

It helped me a lot to know that I wasn't alone throughout this past week. Thanks to all my new MN ATXer friends. :D

I had one that was sent with my original batch of MN M1s. It sat in "Validated" status after the M1s were rejected, recreated, transmitted and FINALLY accepted. I transmitted two newly created MNPRs and they were accepted within hours. Finally I got a rejection of the first MNPR this morning. I recreatedl, sent and it was accepted within an hour. Try it again. Should work.

MN ACKs back in about an hour!!!

I didn't think that files could be deleted from the Efile Mangager, but I do see that selection on the efile menu

Okay now I have my "rejects". i just synchronized with ATX and all the MN efiles changed to Rejected status. I can almost believe that I may get these efiled this week!

Seems a little far fetched to me.....

Okay now, what am I doing wrong....could it be just me.....or could it be ATX??? I can't recreate an efile when it is still "Validated by EFC". That is the status in my Efile Manager even though it is Rejected in MyATX. I have synchronized with ATX and that didn't help either.

Joan, I just did the same and found that my state return has been rejected for error code 997: Transmitter is not authorized to transmit Return Type M1...! I got through to ATX and sent them the return. Hopefully they are working on it now.
