  1. I just filed my first 1120s return on Friday and haven't gotten an ack yet. The 1040's I filed at the same time have come back. Do corp returns take longer or should I look into the possibility that something is wrong? Thanks for your help.
  2. I haven't had to choose ADS depreciation for a long time and can't seem to figure out how to get the depreciation to show up down in Part III Section C. I'm sure it's something stupid that I just can't see. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  3. I just installed my 2008 ATX software and all seemed to be going well. After the restart I got a message... "Incompatible files, need to update" so I hit the update button, go through the update process and think it's solved but then the next time I open the program it does the same thing. Also, when I tried to go to the E-File Manager I get another message..."message failed to load, Key: service enrollment prompt Error: Object variable or with block variable not set." Does anyone have any idea what might be going on. Been using ATX for many years and this is new to me. Thanks for any help, trying not to call support.
  4. Yesterday a gentleman came in to the office speaking very little English saying he came to the US from Puerto Rico in June. He has 2 W-2's and reports that he is supporting 2 step children that live in Buffalo, NY with a woman friend who cares for them. He says he sends them money every week for their support. This is a whole new thing for me and I'm not sure how to proceed. Anyone have some thoughts/experience for me??? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Rachel

    I'm guessing you mean their 2006 AGI, and you only need that if you want to have a paperless return. You can always use form 8453 to efile a return... no AGI required.
  7. :angry: I also am extremely frustrated with customer support and login procedures. I did login Monday (somehow!) but neglected to write down the new username and password and new client number. Now I can't get access to any form of customer support to get login info. Have been on hold now for 43 mins ! An improvement I guess since I couldn't even get on hold before. Without the atx community (on ATX's site) and with nonexistent customer support I am very worried.
