In Drake, all I have to do is check "yes" on the dialog box of the entry form.

I would guess yes!

I checked my returns that been held and they show ready to efile. In the "view/print" screen in messages the following note is shown:
495 NOL CARRYFORWARD WORKSHEET: The IRS has not yet released Publication
536 for the 2021 tax year; therefore, the NOL carryforward from 2021
to 2022 has been calculated based on last year's version of the
worksheet (WK_NOLCO) and may not be accurate. As soon as the IRS
releases the 2021 version of the NOL worksheet, it will be added to
Drake Tax. Returns completed prior to the release of the 2021
worksheet should be recalculated at that time.

From what I know, this fund pays dividends on the investment. Just guessing, I would say it should have shown on the 1099-div. Like I said, just guessing.

Last year it came out in mid March. Holding three returns.

I received my Tax Book about 5 weeks ago, but I don't use ATX anymore.
Same here, no ATX.

"If you are participating in the Fed/State Combined Filing Program then there is no need to file the 1099-NEC with the FTB, the IRS will forward it on to the FTB. If you are not participating in the Combined Filing Program then you must file the 1099-NEC with the FTB."

We lost our house in a northern California wild fire in 2018. As far as my practice went, I had no problems even though all paper records were destroyed. We got our computers out. I had already begun to downsize and THIS made it easy. As far as the IRS and California franchise tax no problems what so ever. Address, phone numbers changes went well, even though we were out of a permanent residence for four or five months.

I have 3 sites that don't work with Firefox and have been using Chrome for EFTPS, an online pharmacy for husband and mom, and for my own Vanguard accounts. What is everyone using to access EFTPS? MS Edge?
Vanguard works on Firefox for my accounts.

Initial release available.

Not that it will help, but I have a 2019 disk.

An IPO lock-up is period of days, typically 90 to 180 days, after an IPO during which time shares cannot be sold by company insiders. Lock-up periods typically apply to insiders such as a company's founders, owners, managers, and employees but may also include early investors such as venture capitalists.

For me the frosting on the cake is their customer service which is the fastest, not only for taxes, but for any other you might use. Most of the time the phone doesn't even ring when someone picks up the phone. You don't have to leave a message, or send an email and wait until you get an answer. You will get it right away.
I have only used email to Drake. Usually California problems, a response was always within 30 minutes at most. Most problems solved immediately.

Enter the 1099DIV information for Schedule B and the 1099B information for Schedule D via Form 8949.
Do you understand those sources of income, how the information flows on the return, etc. Will you be able to proofread/review the return for reasonableness and accuracy? The IRS instructions for Schedule D are helpful and thorough: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i1040sd.pdf
Please read the IRS instructions. You have basis in a security when you buy and proceeds when you sell.

I don't know for sure if what the IRS rule is, but in my office we don't send it if we did not prepare it. Period. End of discussion. So I don't care what the IRS rule is.
That does not help you, I am sorry. Just putting an opinion out there.
