Lee B
Yes, it's possible. Have you excluded the recommended files from your anitivirus program scans?

joanmcq
Have you excluded the ATX .exe files from your antivirus? If your antivirus is preventing ATX from accessing what it needs to, you'll get these symptoms.

kampson
Error msg is related to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896010. Based in reading there may be a fix via microsoft but so far they want to charge me $100 just to remote and look at computer etc.

Lee B
Are you sure? This link refers to Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1. My understanding was that when we installed the ATX 2012 Program we also installed Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 ?
kampson
Used that as general reference. Doing net framework 4.0 update now. Will see what happens.
kampson
Did some more research and found that fix was to manually run Windows update Go to optional updates and updated net Framework. Did version 1.1 and a few others. Fixed E-file issue. Next will be running optional version 4.0 updates as some have said speeds up load times etc. Yea!!!
