TKTax Posted March 16, 2013 Report Share Posted March 16, 2013 Client wishes to make a Section 454 Election to report savings bond interest on a final return. Death was in 2012. Redemption of bonds is 2013. No Form 1099 for bonds. I do have a Fed ID for the Estate. How do I Report it? Does just doing it make the election? Do I have to file a paper return?
