Monkeyman Posted January 31, 2008 Report Share Posted January 31, 2008 Hello Everyone, My wife got a 1098-T in the mail with an amount in box 2 (amounts billed for qualified tuition and related expenses). Where do I input this number? Is it the 8917 or 8863? I can see where the credit (if any) might go into line 49 of the 1040 but have no idea how to get it there. I appreciate any advice you can give.
