Ray in Ohio Posted April 15, 2013 Report Share Posted April 15, 2013 This morning we had to 'reprimand' a client that was being pushy and outright rude and not happy that he owes, wanting us to recheck the numbers but did not want an extension. We told him that we do not have time for that today and finally told him that he will have to take his info somewhere else. Now he sent us fresh donuts and coffee. If it were my office, we would call him post haste, thank him and ask if he would like an appointment next week to go over the return and remind him that a return can be amended if need be. Guest Taxed Posted April 16, 2013 Report Share Posted April 16, 2013 Sometimes you have to tell them the way it is. Had a referral call me at 2pm. Wanting to figure out an extension where they did NOt have to pay now but pay in 6 months without any interest??? They were led to believe at their church group that if they filed an extension with a certain calculation they could pay what they owed by october without interest??
