Yardley CPA Posted February 5, 2014 Report Share Posted February 5, 2014 I efiled my first return over the weekend (holding the New Jersey State.) The Federal 1040 was processed and accepted very quickly. The NJ return was transmitted once the Federal was accepted. Today I received a Rejection. When trying to open the New Jersey return I receive the following ATX message: "The return contains incomplete rollover data and some forms are out of date or mismatched. Please open and close the return in last year's program (you do not need to save it), then re-open the return in this year's program." I've followed the instructions but the message continues to appear when I try to open the return in the 2013 program, not allowing the return to actually open.
