Maintains a residence here in U.S. Looking at his 2016 return, he filed FINCEN, Form 8938 and multiple forms 8621. All looks in order. I am looking for someone with much more experience with this kind of situation than I have. Preparing the return does not seem out of my ability, but I have multiple questions about where some of the numbers come from and why they are put in certain places.
