Client is retired military and gets pension from Defense Finance out of London, KY. Is this a public (government) pension, or private pension? I would think it was public, but my software is saying private. Admittedly, I don't know how these are funded, not having been in the military, but any help would be appreciated. kcjenkins Posted March 30, 2009 Report Share Posted March 30, 2009 If you look at the top of page 2 of Form MO-A, the black like states that "Public pensions are pensions from any Federal, state or local government."
