I never heard of a zip code not being accepted for e-filing. Is the dash showing even though you did not put in the four digit extension on the zip? Terry O Posted February 7, 2011 Author Report Share Posted February 7, 2011 Found it - - in the past - -the error sent you to the CORRECT form - -now - -if it's a w-2 - -it sent me to the first one - - NOT the 4th one that had the problem. Now, I have tried unsuccessfully to efile the DE return - -2nd rejection - -but no code - -just rejected by agency - -any suggestions? kcjenkins Posted February 8, 2011 Report Share Posted February 8, 2011 Sure, call the state efile help desk, and ask them to look up the return in their system and help you figure out what needs to be done. My state's help desk is staffed with really nice helpful people. Bet most of them are. They want us to efile, so they tend to be helpful about fixing whatever problem may occur. Has anyone else encountered this? I have encountered the same error for a city in Michigan. Has gone through for 2yrs all of a sudden it wont. I have taken it right off of the W2?
