Any other viable software providers out there to replace the problems we're having with ATX 2012?

Whatever you do, don't restore your computer to an earlier date. That was a nightmare for me! I have installed ATX 2012 on 3 computers, and only my Windows 7 computer is even remotely running the program now. I had high hopes for the 12.8 Version Update, but it won't install properly! Wish I could get a refund from CCH and start over with new software, but earlier this month, I was acutally able to prepare and eFile a few returns with ATX 2012, so they probably wouldn't grant a refund. Any suggestions for comparable price replacement software that offers all the federal and state forms?

I decided to wait until Sat morning Feb 16 to install 12.8 update, but it simply won't load. I'm running Windows 7. I downloaded directly from the website. Everything seems to install ok on screen. But then nothing changes. Still says Version 12.7 under Control Panel. And this is just the latest problem I've had. I had hoped the program update would fix all the bugs I have experienced so far this year, but ATX 2012 is junk. Why did they have to change the software this year??!!!! I'm hoping to get through this tax season with it by some miracle. But I'm definitely going to shop around for next year.
