I am an Enrolled Agent and have been doing taxes and bookkeeping for 25 years.

I operate out of a home office as a sole proprietor.

I keep my client base under 200 so I can handle it easily.

My husband is self employed , in the construction field, and I manage his business also. For him I estimate, schedule, collect and keep the books.

Hobbies......hmmmm.. I hunt deer, play computer games, crossword puzzles.........nap, when I can.
  1. I have a client (MFJ) whose wife filed with a ITIN and the return was accepted 3 days ago. He called me today about the stimulous, they did not get the full amount last year due to the fact she did not have a SS #. Well it seems she got a SS # late last year and they failed to tell me and now they want me to do something with this information so they might pick up the additional $300 stimulous. The problem here is: I do not know what to do. My thought was, the return has been e-filed and accepted with the ITIN....there should be matching with social security and if a true ss # was gotten shouldn't it have kicked back at me? I have seen SS Card....... but the social security number was not input on the tax return because I didn't know about it at the time of filing. Help.............Please How do I get the additional stimulous for them???? Dorothy Jennell, EA Exeter, NH

Good Morning, Log on??? I can't even get the page to open. Big error message referring to Padding is invalid and cannot be removed and "/" exception. I went to ATX website and the email link for support gives the same error. The email link for Sales seems to be fine. Any simple suggestions?? Any thoughts??? Dotti
  4. Eli, Thank you , that was a wonderful story. Wonderful, thought provoking way to begin my week. Dotti
  5. I am listening to all of you about being all done. Just read that the Tax Season in the Northeast is now extended until April 26, 2007. I am never going to be done this year..........Geeeeeeeee
  6. Any one else with Massachusetts returns just saying transmitted to agency for 3 days....No state accepts
  7. Thank You so much for taking the time to do this........Life is so stressful in the last few days of the season and I feel as if I have found an Oasis in the desert. A Paypal donation button would be a good thing. Dot Jennell EA
