Can a first time filer e-file?

Can 2011 return be amended now?

Can I use my bank account to collect my fee from clients?

Has anyone had trouble with the payer manager.

I completed one client and put in a new 1099R.

The same client had a second 1099 from the same payer, and it shows in the payer manager.

Now I have another client, which has a 1099 from that same payer, but it does not show in the list of payers.

I went back to the other client and made sure it was still there and it was, but it will not show in the new client payer list.

When the person with the highest SSI payments dies, does the surviving spouse get the others amount?

Does anyone have any idea as to how long it takes to get a refund via direct deposit this year?

How about the state of MA?

I think it means that ATX does not have final approval from the IRS to print this form.

I use Solway's Plain Backup, you can set up whatever you want to back up.

I backup to a 300GB USB drive.

I backup the complete ATX directories and all the documents files.

You can use the copy feature and copy only newer files.

I use the free version, you can also buy a more robust version which will backup your registry also.

Have not had a failure of a file yet, using it for 3 or 4 years.

Is there anyone who knows how to get a form such as Schedule C, and put it into Excel to be able to use it as a template for a client?

I have paper port, and it says to put it into Excel but it comes out all wrong.

I have gone online and tried 2 different programs that are supposed to convert a pdf file into Excel but no luck.

I know that all the forms are in Excel in the tax package, but don't know how to be able to get them out and use them in Excel.

Any information may be helpful.

I have a new computer with windows 8.1, and use Paperport 14. I have always used Adobe Acrobat Pro 8 to be able to insert text on forms.

Apparently there is a conflict with Adobe and Win 8, the program starts and loads the file but when I use typewriter to enter info on the form Acrobat stops working.

Has anyone been successful loading PDF files into Word or Wordperfect?

I have a client that claimed an EIC on their return, and received a letter from the IRS disallowing the credit.

The client has 2 schedule C's, retirement income, social security and interest income, the schedule C's show a net loss of $75.

ATX calculated the EIC based on the gross income of the schedule C's, and came up with an EIC.

The IRS states that they have no earned income and disallowed the EIC.

They have a disabled child which allows the EIC.

Is the IRS correct?

I received a call from a client that files a RI NR return, he called me and said he has heard nothing from them as of yesterday.

I went online and found out they are waiting for information from him.

Has anyone had this problem with the state of RI.

His return was accepted on Feb 26, 2014.

I have a client that loaned her son 10k for a car, he only paid back 5k can she write this off as a bad debe, and how.

This was all done through a loan at the bank.

I did one yesterday afternoon, and both fed and state of CT were accepted within 3 hours.

Maybe they fixed it?

They are trying to make up for the year they could not do rapid refunds/

Now I want to print this list, and cant find a way to print it.

How long does it take to get a refund with direct deposit from State of MA after it has been accepted?

Hard to beleive but federal refunds and very early this year.

I e-filed on 1/31 rec ack on 1/31 rec direct dep 2/10 early AM

Has anyone else seen this happen yet?
