I have been handling tax compliance of his New York Store. Now he wants to bring his MD store to me also. However the CPA who has handled his MD business in MD before will not release me this clients's MD sales tax user name and password. Is there a way for me to get a new username and password. Lion EA Posted April 27, 2014 Report Share Posted April 27, 2014 Just a wild guess, but probably as an agent for your client, that MD CPA must release the sales tax info to his client/soon-to-be-former client. Your client may be able to get the information to pass along to you -- either from his former MD CPA or directly from the MD governmental unit that handles online sales tax reporting and payments.
